Announcing our 2013-2014 Show

ROKCincy is thrilled to announce that next year we will be sending a FREE, fully staged, 40 minute version of Rossini’s classic comedy “The Barber of Seville” to schools and educational institutions in the Greater Cincinnati area. Appropriate for grades K-8.

The young and determined Count Almaviva has fallen for the talented and witty Rosina. But, Rosina is kept hidden by her strict guardian, Dr. Bartolo. They’ll need all their cunning, and more than a few tricks courtesy of FIGARO, the barber of Seville, to pull off an escape.

Sung in English and Italian, this show stuns with familiar music, vocal fireworks, and high energy hijinks.

Touring will run from November 2013 through April 2014. ROKCincy provides a FREE curriculum guide meeting National Standards to institutions that have scheduled performances.

If you are interested in bringing “The Barber of Seville” to your school or institution please contact Christine at rokcincy@gmail.com to schedule a performance.
